The Mother as a Living Grail – The Sacred Temple of the Womb
In many ancient cultures, the feminine body was viewed as a living Grail, a chalice through which life descends. The Egyptian, Essene, and Celtic mysteries emphasized that the womb is not just a physical organ but a vessel of spirit. Steiner echoes this by describing how the mother offers the etheric and physical bodies to the descending soul. In this session, mothers connect deeply with their own body, seeing it as sacred, through gentle movement, breath, and anointing practices. We explore how caring for the body-soul during pregnancy strengthens the etheric forces and builds the “temple” into which the child may safely incarnate.
